Welcome to Andrews Landscaping

Andrews Landscaping Ltd is a Guildford based company established in 2002 who undertake all aspects of landscaping. Whether your project is a townhouse garden or driveway, a large country house with grounds, or you are a housing developer or a school requiring landscaping services, then we are here to help you. We offer a full design and build service plus help with the aftercare of your project.

Design…

Once you contact us we will arrange a time to come out and meet up to look at the project. We will talk about your requirements offering some sound advice. This meeting will typically take an hour and from this information we will be able to put together a detailed quote and proposal. At this stage if further drawings are required then we will arrange this with our garden designer. If you would like to go ahead with the work then we will provide samples of all materials to be used.

…and Build

Building is what the teams at Andrews Landscaping love to do and to see the transformation from start to end is what makes us tick. Our team will begin on the agreed start date and will be with you until the project is completed. Dialogue is very important and we will continually talk to you regarding issues and solutions as they arise and encourage you to ask questions so that you are aware of the whole process. Some projects may require the services of specialist contractors such as lighting, swimming pool specialists or bespoke garden buildings and we will liaise with the specialist teams to ensure the projects’ success.

Our Latest Projects

Rill

The client was desperate for a Rill in his new garden and so Lucy, our garden designer drew up plans for an 11metre rill which spectacularly dropped into a 4 x 4 metre pond. A sunken area was created with Bredon gravel and paving slabs as the hard surfaces and sleepers gave it a rustic feel. The planting embellishes the whole design and we also created a large wild meadow area to set it all off against. Designed by Lucy Boxall.

Garden Transformation

This total garden makeover saw us introduce a large hardwood deck to house the existing jacuzzi alongside 2 simple wooden archways which lead you to the deck. A large Porcelain patio extends around the house which allows the possibilities of numerous seating areas. Due to the height differences, sleeper walls were erected and a fantastic planting scheme embellished the beds. Fresh turf was laid and contemporary fencing was installed throughout the garden. Pleached hedging wrapped around the boundary to create extra privacy. Soft lighting installed to create a spectacular night time vista.

Stunning Courtyard Garden

This new build property was a blank canvas and the client had a vision to create a contemporary space. Our landscaper Ollie superbly crafted the garden to fulfil the clients’ vision. Raised beds with K Rend finish were constructed and then thoughtfully planted out. Porcelain paving was laid and a corner pergola built to allow Wisteria to grow up. The whole space had a batten fence surround constructed which finishes it all off to create the modern feel. Finally, as in most of our designs a lighting plan was agreed and implemented by our outdoor lighting specialist.

Driveway and Water Feature

Old and tired driveway was replaced and extended making full use of a very large front garden on a corner plot. The client not only wanted a larger drive for his burgeoning car collection but he also wanted some ‘wow’ factor with the inclusion of a large water feature. A Haddon Stone water feature was installed within a large 4 metre circular pond area which suitably embellished the new Marshalls Tegula block paved driveway.

Uber Smart in Surrey

The garden was transformed from an overgrown wilderness into a contemporary looking paradise which perfectly off set the house refurbishment. The back garden saw us install a Porcelain patio along the full length of the back punctuated by 4 brick raised beds. The beds were fully irrigated, plus we introduced a wooden pergola area ideal for catching the last of the sun.

The front area was widened, introducing herbaceous flower beds with full irrigation and finished it off with a spectacular resin driveway which complemented the house perfectly.

Finally, we installed the front door step which was made from brushed Yorkstone with a bull nose finish and added the Georgian porchway above.

Traditional Workers Cottage

A 17th Century cottage in the heart of Farncombe needed to have the outside space updated but it had to be in keeping with the overall surrounds. A plan was devised which saw us build Bargate stone walls and steps, stepping stone pathways and a traditional cobble pathway leading up to the front door. Due to the quality materials used and the exemplary workmanship the result was a scheme which blended in superbly and added a timeless quality. Designed by client with input from Andy Stuttard.
