Complete Makeovers

Disabled Garden

Client remit was to turn the vegetable patch into an area suitable for wheel chairs with access to a number of raised beds all set at wheel chair height. A total of 80 French Oak sleepers were cut so as to surround a water feature. The flooring consisted of an octagonal patio set surrounded by a block paved area with the blocks laid in 90 degree herringbone.

Ifold Development

We had 6 luxury houses to landscape and our team had to initially put up all the close board fencing and then lay the turf. We brought in many hundreds of tonnes of topsoil for the turf and we also had to plant the whole site including large trees and shrubs.

Japanese Garden

The client had a sloping garden so we incorporated into the design two flat areas – one of grass and one of stone. The sleeper walls hold back the soil and much thought was put into the detail of the shaped beds and steps. The Japanese pergola is set on a sandstone patio.

Molsley Job

Remit was to create a new in-and-out driveway using Indian Sandstone slabs edged with Sandstone Setts. A new wall was built with iron railings to allow light into the front of the house. The porchway was rebuilt to tie everything in. The final effect is striking and certainly finishes off the house while providing a convenient and welcoming front.

Rogues Wine Bar Guildford

The Pub garden was very tired and lacked any imagination. The design remit was to make the patio area a more vibrant and usable space by taking down walls and creating a large patio space. A new retaining wall was added with lights installed and solid brick steps created. Both the walls and steps were rendered to brighten up the whole area. The top part of the garden was a large bank with 3 benches sat on concrete pads. We cut and filled the garden creating 2 flat areas which were seperated with sleepers. We also constructed a deck which ran along the width of the garden. Turf was laid down and the sleepers had small lights installed in them. The whole effect was to create an attarctive and usable area ideal for people to relax in and watch the sun go down.
